This Father’s Day, families in the Puyallup area can make meaningful memories while supporting an important cause at the Father’s Day 5K Charity Run/Walk on Sunday, June 15, 2025. Hosted at the East Puyallup Foothills Trailhead, this community event focuses on Men’s Health Awareness and promotes healthy, family-friendly outdoor fun.
A Family-Friendly, Non-Competitive 5K
Unlike traditional races, the Father’s Day 5K is all about inclusivity and togetherness. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to walk, run, or bike along a scenic 3.2-mile course. With an emphasis on family bonding over competition, this relaxed event is ideal for children, grandparents, and everyone in between.
The route follows the Foothills Trail, a paved path that stretches through natural landscapes with minimal obstacles. There’s one road crossing and a rail crossing with very little train activity, making it a safe and accessible route for strollers, bikes, and new runners.
What to Expect on Race Day
The event will feature music before and after the race, creating a festive, uplifting environment. All proceeds from registration go directly to Men’s Health Awareness initiatives, making participation a meaningful way to celebrate the father figures in your life.
